Don’t Compost It, Cook It Review & Giveaway

Last week, April Patel, a reader here on Coupons with Q contacted me about her brand new book Don’t Compost It, Cook It. I was excited to learn  more — April’s book is all about how to eat better while on a budget, which fits right in with the core of Coupons with Q!

I devoured her book in one sitting. I was immediately inspired and encouraged! I could identify with April – she recognizes that there are simply not enough hours in a day to do everything, so you make choices about the most important things for your family and you focus on that. One of the most important things in my life is to feed my family well and stay on our budget. This is one of April’s goals as well and that’s how she started “compost cooking”. One of the first things I thought of while reading is how previous generations have looked at food and cooking. They cooked with a lot less waste and used everything. This is how April approaches cooking as well! Her book covers how to find organic produce for less plus she includes some great recipes. All the recipes are easy to understand with simple instructions. If you have a picky eater, many of her recipes are easy to “hide” making it perfect for the entire family.

April has generously offered to give away a copy of her e-book to one lucky reader here on Coupons with Q! Use the Rafflecopter form below to enter – good luck!
