Beef and Bean Burritos

These beef and bean burritos are one of my husband’s favorites! I love that they are easy to make, filling, and super inexpensive! I wrap each burrito in foil before putting in a freezer safe bag, so they’re great for single servings!

Ingredients for Beef and Bean Burritos

  • flour tortillas {I did 12 tortilla-sized tortillas for this batch}
  • 1 pound of hamburger
  • 1 onion
  • salsa, whatever flavor/hotness you prefer!
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large can of refried beans
  • 2 cans black beans

How to Make Beef and Bean Burritos

First, I cooked the hamburger with a chopped onion until it was completely cooked. While it was cooking, I ripped my foil — one for each burrito. Once the meat was done, I mixed in the beans and salsa. After it was totally incorporated, I spread some on each tortilla and topped with cheese. Then I rolled the burrito up. After the burrito was rolled, I rolled it in the foil and folded the ends of the foil before placing it in a freezer safe storage bag. When you’re ready to eat, just remove the foil and microwave for a minute or two and enjoy with salsa and sour cream!
