Funding the Food Pantry with Teespring!

Do you ever feel like there are many causes near and dear to your heart, but not enough money to invest in all of them? Maybe you’re in charge of fundraising for a project and don’t know where to begin. How can you possibly get the word out about your cause without wasting money?!

This has been my debate as well! Recently, I was given the honor of helping stock our church’s food pantry. Our goal is to feed 100 families a week in our community! I’m overwhelmed with joy that I can play a part in this since I believe it’s fulfilling such a humbling and basic need for the people of my hometown.

After my initial brainstorming session, I felt like there was still more beyond the items on my list that we could do. Something that could be more widespread and would appeal to an even wider range of people to help provide for the food pantry. I truly believe that many people want to become more involved and would love to help — if they only knew where and what the need was.

That’s why I was so excited to hear about Teespring.com! Anyone can design a tee shirt online with their service and then sell it to make a profit. The beauty of their system is that the shirts don’t print until the creator’s end date! This means that you will not waste any funds pre-ordering shirts and trying to guess what sizes you may need. All the guess work is eliminated, meaning you can just create profit! Their online design software is easy to use and great to customize! You can upload images, add text, change colors and more — all with just a few clicks! You’ll then receive a custom URL to share on social media or anywhere else online so that people can purchase your creation! Check out this short and fun video showing the process:

I am over the moon happy about this site! The potential is endless! A little creativity could generate huge pay offs for you! Plus, it’s not required to be for charity. If you’re working from home or in between jobs and want to earn a little extra cash, you could create a tee shirt too!

Happy Creating!
