The Best Money Saving Smart Phone Apps.

I love my iPhone.. I don’t however much care for the monthly bill. In order to justify having our iPhones, I want it to do everything for me! Here are the best money saving smart phone apps you should check out to help keep your life organized and help you take advantage of great deals!

The Best Money Saving Smart Phone Apps:

Awesome Note – $3.99 (Lite version is free but very limited)

You are able to write notes to yourself, manage a to do list, create a schedule, get all your bills organized and get reminders for anything you may need. You can enable items on your schedule and to do list to repeat at certain times so you never have to write down the same item more than once. I’d say this is just about the best $3.99 I have ever spent. I love it!

Ibotta – Free

After shopping, take a picture of select products and upload to Ibotta. You’ll receive cash in your PayPal account for the items you purchase!

Gas Buddy – Free

This app is just like the website. You basically find the cheapest gas close to you, plus you can report prices for chances to win a prize.

Grocery IQ – Free

You can build your grocery list online and then sync it your phone. With their huge database, you can scan items and quickly have them added to your list. Links coupons to items on your list.

Group On – Free

Much like the website, you can search for deals on thing to do and eat at 50-90% off. The app allows you to find deals near you and keep track of all your purchases. Especially great while traveling!

Coupons.Com – Free

This app allows you to access coupons a couple of ways – you can search for the coupons you want and either have them print or load to a store savings card. Very similar to the website, you can search by item type and by your area.

Price Check by Amazon – Free

This app is great! You can scan bar codes to find out the best price of the item while you’re out and about and the app will search for the items price on Amazon. You can also read product descriptions and customers comments. If you choose to purchase the item off Amazon, you can log in to create a secure purchase on your Amazon account.

Kroger – Free

This is a great one to have! You can find local stores and load or remove Kroger coupons which is great if you realize while you’re shopping that you have a higher value paper coupon and wish to remove one of your electronic Kroger coupons. This app is also now compatible with all Kroger Co. stores so you can select which one you shop at after finding local stores.

Shop Savvy – Free

Basically you use this app to scan the bar code of an item to find out the best prices on it. You can also search by keyword if you don’t have a bar code handy. It’s community based, so you can add a bar code/item if it’s not already in the database. There are tons of other little perks like organizing items into lists, viewing shipping promos and finding rebates. Another good one to have on hand!

Target – Free

LOVE my Target app! You can find the nearest store, view the ad, browse products, search bridal/baby registries and more! They also show you a hot daily deal!

Wal Mart – Free

Similar to Target’s app – you’ll find the daily deal, ad, see rollbacks, and check the inventory on items at your local store. Very handy to have!

Walgreens – Free

You can refill prescriptions, find a local store, review the ad, and create a shopping list. You can also order prints to pick up in an hour!

CVS Pharmacy – Free

Find the nearest store, order prescriptions, see the ad, and beauty club deals.

Shop Kick – Free

This app allows you to find new deals and exclusive offers. You earn points for walking into a store which can be converted to gift cards or donated to charity.

Shoeboxed – Free

Take a picture of your receipt, wait a day for the program to update, and your receipt will automatically be archived with all needed information like date, amount, store, etc.

EEBA – Free

This budgeting app is awesome! Not only does it help you track your spending, you can share the software with a spouse or other family members so you can all stay on track. It’s especially great if you’re on a cash budget with a spouse as the software syncs and keeps track of both of you!

Out of Milk – Free

This grocery list app not only helps with shopping, it keeps track of what you have in your pantry now to help eliminate unnecessary spending! You can also sync with others or email/text lists!
