Product Review: the UGLee Pen

UGLee Pen.

So I won’t lie. When I first received this pen, I thought “Boy, it lives up to it’s name!” I mean have you ever seen a pen that looks like this?!? Although, the glitter in the grip gel is definitely a redeeming factor. 🙂

What is the UGLee Pen?

The UGLee Pen {Ultimate Grip Pen by Dr. Lee} is the “world’s most comfortable ergonomic pen”.  The UGLee Pen is designed by Dr. James Lee, who dealt with countless finger cramps while in med school due to note taking. He was determined to create the perfect pen after trying every pen on the market to improve his comfort while writing. After eight years of trial and error, the UGLee pen was born! It has a full size grip, is extremely light weight and has a super smooth ink system. It’s available in a range of colors, plus you can order their custom ink refills in black, blue and red as well. You can visit the UGLee pen website, the UGLee pen Facebook, or the UGLee pen Twitter. What color of pen is your favorite?

What Did I Think of the UGLee Pen?

I received three, red UGLee pens with blue ink to review. At first use, I didn’t think the pen was anything special. In fact, I didn’t like the full size grip at first since I’m not used to it. But then my printer jammed. While I was trying to print my to do list. EEEK. I NEEDED a list.. but obviously technology was not on my side. I decided to put the pen to the test and hand write my list instead. By the end of my list, I really liked the pen! Now I’ve been using it regularly to jot down notes and during school with Jorryn. It’s definitely different from any other pen I’ve used. It’s very lightweight. The ink was incredibly smooth. Plus, the ink didn’t “freeze” like many pens do. You know, where you have to draw a billion little circles on the page to get it to work again? With the UGLee pen, that never happened. My hand felt comfortable while writing and I was able to write continuously with little effort. I can see how this design would highly benefit someone with arthritis or who does a lot of writing. If you’re looking for a new type of pen to try, this is definitely it!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I’ve never used one of these pens, but it certainly seems to live up to its name. If it makes writing easier, I would certainly like to try one!

I have never heard of these. They look cool!
